Getting Started

What is Clientish?

Clientish is an all-in-one platform for agencies, freelancers and service teams to manage clients, orders, tasks, tickets, team members, and billing — replacing the spreadsheets, inboxes, and disconnected tools most agencies rely on.

Can I use my own domain and hide your branding?

Every workspace gets its own address at yourname.clientish.io today. On the plans that include white-label branding you also upload your logo, set your colours, and send email from your own SMTP. The result is that your clients see your agency — in the portal, in every invoice, and in every automated email. They never encounter the Clientish name.

How does a revision request work?

When the work is delivered you set the order status to Complete. From that moment a Request revision action appears against that order in the client’s portal.

If they use it, the order status moves to Revision and the request lands on the order itself — with their note attached — so the assigned team sees the context without an email thread. Once you finish the changes you set it back to Complete.

Your revision allowance is yours to set, and the count is visible on the order, so nobody argues about how many rounds are left.

Does it work on mobile, and where is my data hosted?

The whole platform is mobile responsive — the agency dashboard, the client portal, and the public order forms all work in a phone browser, so a client can order and pay from their phone and your team can check an order on the move. Hosting is with an established provider, with a backup server kept in sync so a failure on one machine does not take your workspace down. See the Security page for the detail.

What happens if I reach my plan limit?

Your plan limit is a live count, not a hard stop on your work. On Starter, for example, you can hold 10 clients at a time — delete one and the slot frees up immediately for a new one. If you need more room without changing plans, take the add-on: an extra block of 10 clients on top of your current limit, billed alongside your subscription. Orders and tickets work the same way. Nothing is deleted automatically and nothing stops working when you reach the number — you simply cannot add beyond it until you free a slot or add the extra block.

Which payment gateways can I use?

Six: Stripe, PayPal, Paddle, SSLCommerz, Aamarpay, and manual bank transfer. You connect them in Settings under Payment Gateways and can run more than one at a time — clients then pick at checkout. Manual bank transfer is useful where cards are awkward: the invoice stays open, the client uploads or notes the transfer, and you mark it paid.

Can I bill in different currencies and handle tax?

Yes. Multi-currency is built in — set your workspace currency, and services or invoices can be raised in others where your gateway supports it. Tax rules are yours to define: multiple rates, per-country settings, and your own invoice number format. Tax is then applied automatically on every invoice and shown as its own line, so what you send matches what your accountant expects.

How do I reach you if something breaks?

Every plan includes support through the same channels: raise a ticket from your Clientish Portal, use live chat during business hours, or email support@clientish.co. Tickets carry a status and an SLA, so you can see where yours stands without asking. Median first reply is under two hours in business hours; live chat is usually under five minutes. Outside business hours you get an honest auto-reply telling you when someone will pick it up — and the ticket is waiting for the team at the start of the next working day. Billing questions are answered the same business day, and migration requests are scheduled and confirmed within 24 hours.

Can I get help moving from spreadsheets or another tool?

Yes, and it costs nothing. Send us your existing client and service lists in almost any format — spreadsheet export, CSV, or a dump from your current tool — and we import them into your workspace for you. We confirm the mapping with you before anything is written, so nothing lands in the wrong field. Most imports are done inside a day, which means you spend the trial working rather than typing.

Do I need a credit card to start the free trial?

No. Every workspace gets a 14-day free trial with full feature access, and no credit card is required to start.

How long does setup take?

Most agencies are up and running in under 30 minutes using our guided onboarding wizard, which helps you import clients, invite your team, and configure your first orders.

Can I migrate my data from another platform?

Yes. You can bulk-import clients and services via CSV, and our support team can help with a guided migration from your current CRM or agency tool.

Plans & Billing

Can I change my plan later?

Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated for the rest of your billing cycle. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

Do you offer refunds?

Once you subscribe to a paid plan, payments are non-refundable — since you have the full 14-day trial to evaluate the Service before paying. See our Refund Policy for details.

What payment methods do you accept?

We support Stripe, PayPal, Paddle, Aamarpay, SSLCommerz, and manual bank transfers, depending on your region.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

Your workspace stays accessible in read-only mode for 90 days after cancellation — you can view and export everything, but not create or edit. Reactivate any time in that window and nothing is lost. After 90 days the data is permanently deleted. Note that the 14-day trial is our refund policy: once a plan is charged, payments are non-refundable. is permanently deleted from our production systems.

Features

Can my clients see their own orders and tickets?

Yes. Every client gets a dedicated Client Portal where they can track order status, view and pay invoices, submit or follow up on support tickets, browse your services and order again, top up a wallet balance, and message you on live chat during your business hours — with an honest auto-reply outside them.

Can I manage remote team members and contractors?

Yes. Remote and virtual team members get their own dashboard, access levels, and task assignments separate from your core team, available from the Growth plan onward.

Is there a limit to how many clients or orders I can have?

Each plan includes a set number of clients, orders, and tickets that scales with the tier — see our Pricing page for exact limits, with Enterprise offering unlimited usage.

Do you offer an API?

Yes, Pro and Enterprise plans include third-party integration and webhook support so you can connect Clientish to your existing tools.

Security & Privacy

Can my team members see client details, emails and prices?

It depends entirely on the permissions you give them. Every role has its own permission set, and you decide which modules each member can open — clients, orders, invoices, reports, settings and so on. Assigning work does not grant visibility on its own. Give someone a project or a task and they still see only what their role permits — without the client permission they cannot open the client profile, and without the billing permission they never see the order value or your revenue reports. So a designer can work through their assigned tasks without ever seeing the client’s email or the price. A project manager can hold the full client profile but stay locked out of billing. Remote contractors are narrower still. The agency owner controls every permission and can change or revoke it at any time; each change is recorded in the activity log.

Can team members open the Client Portal?

Only if you allow it. The Client Portal is a separate login built for your clients, and team members have no access to it by default. Where a member needs to check what a client is seeing, you can grant a sign-in-as permission for that purpose — it is off unless you switch it on, scoped to the clients they already work with, and every use is written to the activity log. As with every other permission, the agency owner decides who gets it and can revoke it at any time.

I lost my 2FA device — how do I get back in?

Two-factor authentication uses Google Authenticator, so a lost phone means the codes are gone with it. Start with your saved recovery codes: any one of them signs you in, then you can re-enrol a new device from Settings. If the recovery codes are gone too, open a ticket from the Clientish Portal or email support@clientish.co from the address on the account. We verify ownership of the workspace before resetting anything — usually within a few business hours — and never disable 2FA on an unverified request. If you are a team member rather than the owner, your agency owner can reset your 2FA directly from the team settings; no ticket needed.

Do you access or use my client data?

No. Your workspace data — your clients, orders, invoices, files and messages — belongs to you. We act only as a processor, storing it on your instruction so the platform can run. In plain terms: we do not read, mine, sell, share or train anything on your data. We do not build profiles of your clients. Our team does not enter your workspace. Support works from the details you share in a ticket or chat — we never sign in and browse your client list, orders or files. If a problem genuinely cannot be solved any other way, we ask for your written permission first, and the access is time-limited and logged. You can export your data at any time, and you can ask us to delete it — we remove it within 30 days of the request. Read the full commitments in our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement.

Is two-factor authentication available?

Yes, 2FA is available on every plan, including Starter, at no extra cost.

What is your uptime guarantee?

Uptime targets range from 99.5% to 99.95% depending on your plan, with service credits available on Pro and Enterprise. See our SLA for full details.
