Affiliate Programme Terms
Last updated: September 8, 2026
These terms explain how the Clientish affiliate programme works: what earns you money, when that money becomes yours, and how it reaches you. They are written plainly on purpose. If anything here is unclear, ask us before you join rather than after.
1. Who This Is For
There are two kinds of affiliate, and both are welcome.
Marketers. Bloggers, YouTubers, consultants, SaaS reviewers — anyone with an audience. You do not need to run an agency and you do not need a Clientish account of your own.
Agencies already on Clientish. If you run an agency on Clientish, you can join from inside your own portal, under Affiliate. You refer other agencies to Clientish and are paid the same way everybody else is. Your own workspace is never a referral, and neither is any account you open yourself.
Whichever you are, your affiliate account is asked for an email address and a password of its own, so that it keeps working whether or not you are a paying Clientish customer.
You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and the details you give us — your name, your address and where your payouts should go — must be true and yours.
2. How to Join
There are two doors, and which one you use depends on whether you already pay for Clientish.
If you are a marketer with no Clientish account
1. Go to clientish.io/consumer/affiliate/signup.
2. Give your name, an email address, a password and your billing address.
3. Tell us where you will promote Clientish — the newsletter, channel or site, and a link to it. You can list more than one. This is the part we actually read.
4. Accept these terms and submit.
You do not get a Clientish workspace, a trial or anything to set up. An affiliate account is a lighter thing than a customer account, and it is all you need.
If you already run an agency on Clientish
1. Sign in to your workspace and open Affiliate in the portal menu, under EARN.
2. Your name, country and billing address are already filled in from your workspace. Change anything that should read differently on a payout.
3. Give a second email address — not the one you sign in to your workspace with — and a password for it. This is what keeps your affiliate account reachable if you ever stop paying for Clientish.
4. Tell us where you will promote Clientish, if you want to. For an agency this part is optional.
5. Accept these terms and submit. You are in straight away — there is nothing to wait for.
Three things are worth knowing before you start:
• You refer other agencies, not your own. Signing your own second workspace up through your own link earns nothing.
• Your affiliate account is not your workspace account. It has its own address and its own password on purpose, so that if you ever stop paying for Clientish you can still reach what you have earned.
• The affiliate screens replace the portal ones while you are in them, with a Back to portal button at the foot of the menu to come out again. Nothing about your workspace changes, and you stay signed in to it throughout.
If you are already an affiliate and have now become a customer
Do not join a second time. Open Affiliate in your portal, put in the Affiliate ID from your affiliate Account page, and press Verify. Your existing account is attached to your workspace with nothing moved and nothing lost — the same code, the same referrals, and everything already owed to you.
What happens after you submit
We read new applications. What we are looking for is where and how you plan to promote Clientish, which is why the form asks. A blank answer there is the commonest reason an application is not accepted. We email you either way.
A customer joining from their own portal is accepted on submitting. You were checked when you became a customer, and we are not going to make you wait to be checked twice.
You must confirm your email address. We send a link the moment you join. Your referral link works straight away, but until that link is opened no payout can be sent to you — every arrangement about your money is made through that address, and we will not send money on the strength of an address nobody has checked.
Once you are in, your link, your figures and your earnings are at clientish.io/consumer/affiliate, and you sign in to it at clientish.io/consumer/affiliate/signin.
3. Your Link and Your Code
You get a referral link with a short code in it, and you can change that code whenever you like.
Every code you have ever used keeps working, for ever. A link in a video from two years ago still credits you after you rename your code. Nothing you have already shared stops working because you changed your mind about a name.
Your Affiliate ID is a separate, private number shown on your Account page. It is not part of your link. Anyone who has it can attach your affiliate account to a Clientish workspace, so keep it to yourself, as you would a password.
4. What Earns You a Commission
A commission is earned when a new agency signs up through your link and buys a paid Clientish plan.
Three things follow from that, and each one matters:
• It is our sales, not theirs. You earn on what the agency pays Clientish. You earn nothing on what that agency then sells to its own clients.
• It is a new agency. An account that already exists is not a referral.
• It is a paid plan. A free trial earns nothing. The commission is created when they actually pay.
One commission per referred agency, on their first paid plan. Renewals earn nothing. Upgrades earn nothing. A second plan bought later earns nothing. If you refer an agency onto a plan at $180 a month, you are paid once on that first payment — not every month they stay.
5. What You Are Paid
The rate depends on which package the agency buys and whether they pay monthly or yearly. Yearly plans pay a higher rate than monthly ones, and larger packages pay more than smaller ones. Today the rates run between 10% and 30% of what the agency pays on that first plan.
Two things protect you here:
• The rate is fixed at the moment of the purchase. It is written onto your commission and kept there. If we change what a package pays next month, that does not rewrite what you have already earned.
• The rate that applied is shown on every line of your Earnings page, so you can always see how a figure was worked out.
We may change the rates for future referrals. We will not change them for referrals already made.
6. The 60-Day Window
The window runs in both directions, and both halves are enforced.
Before the signup: somebody must have followed your link within the 60 days before they signed up. We match on your link and the time only — never on their address or their device — so the ordinary case of somebody clicking on a phone and signing up on a laptop still counts as yours.
After the signup: a referred agency has 60 days from signing up to buy a plan. If they have not bought by then, the referral lapses and earns nothing, even if they buy later.
7. What Is Not Allowed
• Referring yourself. Signing your own agency up through your own link earns nothing. Neither does arranging for somebody to do it on your behalf.
• Bidding on our brand name. Do not buy paid search advertising on “Clientish” or on close variations of it.
• Pretending to be us. Do not present yourself as Clientish, do not copy our site, and do not imply that we endorse you beyond your being an affiliate.
• Unsolicited email or messages. Spam, in any form, ends an account rather than earning from it.
• Coupon, cashback and voucher sites, unless we have agreed to it with you in writing first.
• Misleading claims. Do not promise features we do not have, prices we do not charge, or results we cannot deliver.
We may cancel a commission that was earned in any of these ways, including one already approved.
8. When a Commission Becomes Yours
A commission does not become payable the moment it is created. It is held first, because the payment behind it can still be undone.
| THE AGENCY PAYS | THE COMMISSION IS HELD FOR |
|---|---|
| Monthly | 30 days from their payment |
| Yearly | 90 days from their payment |
After the hold has passed, a person at Clientish approves it. Approval is not automatic, and an approved commission is what the monthly payout run collects.
You can see every commission and its state on your Earnings page from the moment it is created.
9. Refunds and Chargebacks
If a referred agency refunds their payment or raises a chargeback, the commission on it is reversed. That is true whether the commission is still on hold, already approved, or already paid to you.
If we have already paid you, the reversed amount is taken off your next payout rather than invoiced back to you. If nothing else is owed, it waits against future earnings.
10. Getting Paid
When. We build payouts once a month, on the 10th.
The minimum. A payout is only built when at least $50 is owed to you. Below that, what you have earned stays where it is and is added to next month.
How. You choose one of: Wise or Payoneer, bank transfer, bKash & Nagad. You set this up on your Payouts page, and you can change it whenever you like. Any fee the receiving method charges is yours, not ours.
What holds a payout up. Money is never lost by being held back — it stays owed to you and goes out in a later run. A payout waits when:
• less than $50 is owed;
• you have not told us how you want to be paid;
• we do not have a billing address for you, which your payout invoice needs;
• your email address is not confirmed;
• a payout is already waiting for us to send.
Tax is yours. Whatever you owe on this money where you live is for you to declare and pay. We do not withhold anything, and we are not your employer or your partner.
11. Suspension, Decline and Closing Your Account
We may decline an application, and we may suspend an account that breaks these terms. When we decline or suspend, we tell you the reason.
A suspended account stops earning: referrals through its links are still recorded, but no new commission is created, and the account is left out of the monthly payout run.
You may leave at any time by telling us. Your link stops earning from that point. Anything already approved and not in dispute is paid out in the normal run.
12. Your Affiliate Account Is Separate
Your affiliate account is not a Clientish workspace, even when you have both. It has its own email address, its own password and its own sign-in, and it keeps working whether or not you are a paying Clientish customer.
If you signed up as an affiliate first and later became a customer, you can attach your existing affiliate account to your workspace with your Affiliate ID. Nothing is moved and nothing is lost when you do: your code, your referrals and everything owed to you stay exactly as they are.
Forgotten your password? Use the “Forgotten your password” link on the affiliate sign-in. The link we send works for two hours and once only.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may change these terms. When we change something that affects what you earn or how you are paid, we will email you before it takes effect. Changes never apply backwards to referrals already made or commissions already earned.
14. Getting in Touch
Write to us at support@clientish.co. Anything about a specific commission or payout is quickest to answer if you include your Affiliate ID.
These terms cover the Clientish affiliate programme only. Your use of Clientish as a customer is covered by our main Terms & Conditions.
