SEND PROPOSALS TO CLIENTS · UPDATED OCTOBER 2026

Send Proposals to Clients, Signed and Invoiced

To send a proposal, you write the plan and the price, share it with the client and wait for a yes. In Clientish your agency builds it from ready-made sections and eleven designs, sends a private link to a client or a lead, and the client accepts with a typed signature; the client record, invoice and order are created at that moment, from $29 a month.

Everything a Proposal Needs, In One Place

Write it, price it, send it and get it signed, without switching between a document editor, an e-sign tool and your invoicing. One tool means one version of the price, and nothing re-typed after the yes.

Ready-Made Templates

Start from a ready-made template or one of your own, then edit it.

Eleven Designs

Classic plus ten styles, each with its own fonts, colours and PDF.

Build From Sections

Cover, pricing, timeline, team, terms and more. Reorder or hide any.

Options and Packages

Optional extras the client can tick, and packages they choose from.

Deposit and Validity

Set a deposit percentage and how many days the offer stays open.

Send Your Way

Email it with your own message, or copy the private link and share it.

Online Signature

The client types their name to sign. The time, IP and browser are saved.

Follow Every Step

See when it was sent, opened, accepted, declined or expired.

From Draft to Signed in Four Steps

No attachments, no printing and no separate e-signature tool. A proposal goes from your first draft to a signed agreement, an invoice and an order in four steps, all inside the same workspace.

Pick a Template

Start from a ready-made template, one of yours, or a blank proposal.

Add Sections and Prices

Write the plan, add one-time and monthly lines, set the deposit.

Send the Link

Email it to a client or a lead, or share the private link yourself.

They Accept and Sign

The client signs online, and the invoice and order appear in Clientish.

SECTIONS

Build It From Sections You Control

A proposal is a stack of sections. Drag them into order, hide the ones a client doesn’t need, and preview exactly what the client will see.

Cover, introduction, goals, approach and how you work
Scope, timeline, team, pricing and terms
Metrics, charts, funnels, week plans, galleries and risks
Preview as client before you send

DESIGNS

Eleven Looks, One Click Each

Pick a design that suits the work: Classic, Atelier, Launch, Growth report, Social club, Night shift, Boardroom, Showreel, Quick quote, Care plan or Pitch. A proposal that looks like the work you sell gets read to the end.

Each design has its own fonts and colours
The PDF follows the same design
Switching design changes only the look
Your text, sections and prices stay as they are
Proposal in the Launch design with scope, timeline and three packages to choose from

CLIENT VIEW

Your Client Reads, Chooses and Signs in One Place

Every proposal gets its own private link. No login is needed: the client opens it, picks a package and accepts with a typed signature. Fewer steps for the client means fewer proposals left half-read.

Accept and sign with a typed name and title
Decline with a reason, or ask a question first
Download the proposal as a PDF
If there are packages, the client must choose one to accept

TEMPLATES

Start From a Template, Not a Blank Page

Pick a ready-made template for a website, landing page, online store, care plan and more, or save your own. Editing a proposal never changes the template behind it.

Ready-made templates you can copy and adapt
Save your own under My templates
Use any template for a client in one click
Templates never get a public link, only sent proposals do
Ready-made proposal templates library in Clientish with sections, deposit and price lines
Accepted proposal in Clientish with the created client, invoice and order and the full activity trail

TRACKING

Know Where Every Proposal Stands

Each proposal keeps its own trail, so you know when to follow up and when to start the work. You see the moment it is opened, and a reminder goes out for you if the client goes quiet.

Sent, opened, accepted, declined and expired
One reminder goes out after 3 days without an answer
Proposals expire on their own after the valid-until date
You get an email as soon as a client accepts

What Happens When They Accept

Accepting a proposal does the admin for you, in one step, and a double click can’t do it twice. Your team starts on a real order with an invoice already waiting, instead of setting both up by hand.

1. Client Record

A lead becomes a client. An existing client stays as they are.

2. Invoice Created

One invoice for the one-time total, with your deposit percentage.

3. Order Created

One order, linked to that invoice, ready for your team.

4. You’re Notified

You get an email with who signed and what they accepted.

Monthly price lines are recorded on the proposal. They do not start a subscription on their own.

Proposals FAQ

Straight answers about sending proposals to clients: what to write, what a proposal should include, cost, signatures, tracking and what happens when they accept.

What should I write when sending a proposal to a client?

Keep the message short: thank them for the call, say in one line what the proposal covers and when it is valid until, and ask them to reply with any question before signing. The proposal link carries everything else, so the email itself never needs attachments.

What should an agency proposal include?

A short cover and introduction, the client’s goals, your approach, scope and timeline, the team, pricing with any options or packages, and terms. Every ready-made template already has these sections, so you edit rather than start from a blank page.

How much does it cost to send proposals this way?

Dedicated proposal tools usually charge for every user each month. Clientish starts at $29 a month for the whole workspace, and proposals come with invoicing, orders and the client portal rather than as a separate subscription.

Can I see when a client opens my proposal?

Yes. Each proposal shows when it was sent, opened, accepted, declined or expired, and one reminder goes out by itself after three days without an answer.

Does my client need an account to sign?

No. Each proposal has a private link. The client opens it, reads it and accepts without logging in.

How does the signature work?

The client types their full name, adds an optional title and ticks “I have read and agree”. The typed name is the signature, and the time, IP address and browser are saved with it.

Can I send a proposal to a lead?

Yes. You can send a proposal to an existing client or to a lead. If a lead accepts, they become a client automatically.

What is created when the client accepts?

One invoice for the one-time total, with your deposit percentage as the amount due, and one order linked to that invoice.

Do monthly items start billing automatically?

No. Monthly lines are recorded on the proposal but do not start a subscription on their own.

Who on my team can send proposals?

You as the owner, plus any co-admins you have added. Proposals stay out of the regular team members’ menus, so pricing and deposits are set by the people who run the agency.
