Edit, Duplicate or Delete an Order
What you can change on an order, how duplicating works, and why Complete orders are locked.
Change an order’s details, make a copy of it, or delete it. Complete orders are protected, so what was delivered stays as it was.
Overview
This guide explains what you can change, how duplicating works, and why some actions are not available on Complete orders.
Who Can Access
Team members need Edit Orders or Delete Orders in their role.
Step-by-Step Guide
Edit an order
Open the order and click Edit, or use Edit Order in the order menu. Besides everything on the create form, you can change the Status, the Service Price and the dates the order was added, started and completed. Click Save.
Duplicate an order
Use Duplicate in the order menu. The copy gets the same order number with -1, -2 and so on added, a fresh status, and its own unpaid invoice. Notes, tags and assignees are not copied.

Delete an order
Use Delete and confirm. This can’t be undone.
Complete Orders Are Locked
Once an order is Complete, it can’t be edited, deleted, reassigned or moved to another status, and bulk actions skip it. To do similar work again, duplicate it. If the client wants changes, they can ask for a revision. See Revisions.
Order Numbers
Each order gets an 8-character number made of digits and letters, for example JTIBA734. It can’t be changed.
