Create and Edit a Ticket
Open a ticket for a client yourself, assign your team, and change it later.
Most tickets come from clients, but you can open one yourself, for example after a phone call.
Overview
This guide goes through the Create Ticket form and the Edit ticket page.
Who Can Access
Team members need Create Tickets to create and Edit Tickets to edit.
Step-by-Step Guide
Open the form
Click Create Ticket on the Tickets page. You can also start one from a client’s profile or from an order, with the client and order already filled in.
Choose the client
Pick the client under Select Client. Related Order (optional) lists that client’s orders.

Describe the issue
Under Ticket Details, write the Subject (up to 150 characters) and the Description. Set the Priority, which starts on Medium, and the Status, which starts on Open.
Add your team
Under Team Members, the Assign tab picks who works on the ticket and the CC tab picks who is kept in the loop. You can pick several people on each.
Create it
Click Create Ticket. Your client gets an email that the ticket was created, and the people you assigned get an email and a notification.
Edit a Ticket
Click Edit on the ticket. You can change the client, order, subject, description, priority, status, assignees and CC, then click Save Changes. Changing who is assigned needs Assign Tickets.
