Connect Google Calendar
Add clients, lead follow-ups and invoice due dates to Google Calendar with one click, or connect your account so they are added for you.
Google Calendar works in two levels. Switch it on and you get Add to Google Calendar buttons on clients, leads and invoices, with no Google account needed. Connect your own Google account as well, and your due dates and follow-ups are added to your calendar automatically.
Overview
This guide shows how to switch the buttons on, where they appear, and what changes when you connect a Google account through your own Google app (Client ID and Secret).
Who Can Access
Only people who can manage integrations can switch the card on or connect an account. The buttons then show for your team on clients, leads and invoices.
Step-by-Step Guide
Switch Google Calendar on
Go to Integrations and find the Google Calendar card. Turn the switch to ON. The buttons appear right away. Switch it off to remove them again.

Schedule a call with a client
On a client’s profile, click Schedule a call. The same option is in the client’s menu on the Clients list. It opens a new event called “Call:” and the client’s name, starting at the next full hour.

Add a lead follow-up
On a lead, set the date and time in Team follow-up, then click Add follow-up to Google Calendar. The event uses that time and your follow-up note, with a link back to the lead.

Add an invoice due date
On an invoice, click the calendar icon next to Due. On the Invoices list, use Add due date to Calendar in the invoice’s menu.

Save the event in Google
Each button opens Google Calendar’s own event page with the title, time and details filled in. Check them and click Save there. Nothing is added until you save it in Google.
Connect a Google Account (Optional)
Everything above works without this. Connect an account only if you want events added and kept up to date on your calendar automatically.
Create a Google app
In the Google Cloud Console, create an OAuth client of the type Web application and turn on the Google Calendar API for its project. Add the Authorised redirect URI shown in the Google Calendar dialog exactly as it is; the Copy button copies it for you. Google then gives you a Client ID and a Client Secret.
Add the Client ID and Secret
In Integrations, click Connect on the Google Calendar card. Paste the Google Client ID and Google Client Secret and click Save. To use a calendar other than your main one, paste its Calendar ID in Default calendar.

Connect your account
Open the card again and click Connect Google Calendar. Sign in to Google and allow access. You come back to your workspace with your Google account shown on the card.
What Connecting Adds
- Dates are added for you. Under What to put on the calendar, choose any of: Task due dates (order tasks with a due date, until they are completed), Lead follow-ups (at the time you set), Invoice due dates (unpaid invoices only; paid ones are removed) and Subscription renewals (the next payment date on active subscriptions).
- It stays up to date. Your calendar is updated every few minutes. Click Update calendar now to do it at once. Turning a type off removes the events that were added for it; events you created yourself are never touched.
- You can see it working. The card shows the connected Google account, the calendar in use and when it last checked. If Google refuses an update, the reason shows there.
- Your week on the Dashboard. A Coming up card shows your Google Calendar events for the next 7 days. They are read live from Google and not saved in your workspace.
- Disconnect any time. Click Disconnect on the card. Events already on your calendar stay there.
Tips & Best Practices
Start with the buttons. If your team adds most dates by hand anyway, connect an account later so they appear on the calendar without anyone clicking.
