All Orders Dashboard

3 min read

The main Orders screen — every client order in one place, grouped by status, in the view that suits you.

Overview

An order is the core work item in Clientish — one client’s purchase of one service. The list page opens on a paginated table with status tabs across the top, each showing a live count so you can see where the work sits without applying a single filter.

Three Ways to View Orders

WHERE IT SITS — ORDERS HEADER, TOP RIGHT
Table
Kanban
Cards

The view toggle sits in the Orders header, next to Tasks and Export.

Table view
The default. Dense rows with every column visible — best for scanning volume, sorting, and bulk actions.

Kanban view
One column per status. Drag a card between columns to change its status — the fastest way to move work along.

Card / grid view
Larger cards with client, service, assignee, and due date together — easiest to read when you have fewer, bigger orders.

Switching: use the view toggle at the top of the list. Your search, filters, and status tab carry across all three views.

Status Tabs

Tabs run across the top with a live count on each, so you can read where the work sits before applying a single filter.

WHERE IT SITS — DIRECTLY BELOW THE PAGE TITLE
All 171
Pending 22
Submitted 53
Working 25
Complete 62
Canceled 9

Each tab carries a live count; All shows every order regardless of stage.
Any custom statuses you create appear here as extra tabs alongside the defaults.

Row Actions

Delete
Most order work starts here rather than by opening the record. Each item is gated by its own permission, so a member may see fewer options than you do.

Change client, service, quantity, or notes
Duplicate
Clone the order for repeat work
Delete
Remove the order
Permissions: edit, duplicate, and delete are separate permissions — a member can update an order without being able to remove one.

Work the status tabs left to right each morning — anything sitting in an early stage for days is your bottleneck.
