Merge Clients

1 min read

Combine duplicate records into one without losing their orders or invoices.

Overview

Duplicates happen — the same client signs up twice, or someone adds a record that already existed under a different email. Merging folds one into the other so history stays in one place instead of being split across two accounts.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Open the client record you want to keep.
  2. Choose Merge and pick the duplicate record.
  3. Review what’s moving across — orders, invoices, tickets, and balance.
  4. Confirm. The duplicate is absorbed and the merge is logged in history.

Tips & Best Practices

Merge rather than delete. Deleting a duplicate takes its order and invoice history with it; merging keeps everything.
