Overview
Contractors are not all on the same footing — some are task-based, some permanent, some temporary cover. Remote statuses let you label the engagement type so the roster tells you at a glance.

Set the status when you onboard, not later. It is the field that tells you who you can hand urgent work to and who you cannot.
