How Revenue Is Counted

QuestionAnswer
Which invoices count?Paid invoices only. Unpaid, cancelled and fully refunded invoices are left out.
Which date? The date the invoice was created, not the date it was paid.
Which amount? The invoice total after discounts, including tax and any processing fee.
Total SalesThe number of paid invoices.
Avg Order ValueRevenue divided by paid invoices.

Currencies

  • Money is shown in the currency used most by paid invoices in the period.
  • Other currencies are left out of the totals. The Revenue card shows them as an extra line, such as “+ BDT 1,200.00”.

Why Numbers Differ Between Tabs

  • The Services tab only counts invoices with services on them. Deposits and custom items aren’t included, so it can be lower than Revenue.
  • The Orders tab counts orders created in the period; its chart counts orders completed in the period.
  • Statuses count orders created in the period, grouped by their status today.
