Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Set the limit

Go to Settings → Order Statuses and choose Default revisions per order: 1 to 10 times, or no limit. A service can set its own number instead.

  2. The client asks for changes

In their portal, the client opens the Complete order and clicks Request revision, usually with a message saying what to change. The order gets a Revision requested label.

Complete order with the Revision requested label
  3. Start the revision

On the Orders page, use Start revision in the order’s menu. The label changes to Revision.

  4. Mark it done

When the changes are delivered, use Mark revision done. The label changes to Revision Done, and the order stays Complete.

Good to Know

  • A revision is a label next to the status, not a status of its own.
  • Clients can only request revisions on Complete orders, and only up to the limit.
  • With Lock completed orders on, a client must request a revision before they can message a Complete order.
