Delete a Client
Delete a client and choose what goes with them.
Delete a client from their profile and choose exactly what goes with them.
Overview
This guide explains the Delete dialog and what happens to the records you keep.
Who Can Access
Team members need Delete Clients.
Step-by-Step Guide
Open Delete
Open the client’s profile, click ⋮ and choose Delete Client.
Choose what to delete
Under What to delete, the dialog lists what the client has and how many of each: orders, invoices, subscriptions, tickets, files, chat threads and the activity trail. The client account is always included. Untick anything you want to keep, or use Select all and Clear all.

Confirm
Tick I understand this cannot be undone and click Delete, or Delete everything when every row is ticked.
What Happens
- Everything ticked: the account and its records are removed for good, and the email address can be used again.
- Some records kept: the account is closed and hidden, and the client can no longer sign in. The records you kept stay.
- Not deleted: a remote member’s tracked hours, proposals and the original lead.
- Blocked: while a timer is running for this client or an hours report is waiting for approval. Settle the tracked time first.
Deleting from the Clients Page
Delete in the row menu, and Delete in the bulk bar, remove the clients with all of their records after one confirmation. To keep anything, delete from the profile.
