Lead Permissions, Limits and Notifications
The 8 Leads permissions, your plan’s lead allowance, and who is told about what.
Decide what your team may do with leads, know how many leads your plan allows, and see who is told about what.
Overview
This guide lists the 8 Leads permissions, the plan limits and the notifications.
Who Can Access
Permissions
Set them in Settings → Roles & Permissions for team roles, or Remote Roles for remote members, under Leads. Any one of them also lets the person see leads. The owner and co-admins can do everything.

Anyone who can see leads sees every lead in the workspace. Only people whose role can see leads can be assigned to one.
Plan Limits
- Leads are included on the Growth, Pro and Enterprise plans and the free trial. Starter doesn’t include them, and the Leads menu is hidden.
- Each plan allows a number of new leads a month, and the allowance refills each month. Example data doesn’t count, and deleting a lead frees its place.
- When the allowance is used up, Add Lead and Import tell you, and your contact form stops accepting enquiries until it refills.
Who Is Told
Edit the emails in Settings → Email Templates, and choose your notifications under Lead activity in your notification settings. Leads can also start Automations, Slack messages and webhooks.
