Order Status

1 min read

The stages an order moves through, from arrival to delivery.

Overview

Clientish ships with a default pipeline, and you can add your own statuses to match how your agency actually works. Each status becomes a tab on the Orders list with a live count, and status changes are recorded on the order timeline.

Canceled

Orders move left to right; Canceled sits outside the sequence. Each status carries its own colour, set under Settings → Order Statuses.
Custom statuses: add your own under Settings → Status Management; they appear as tabs alongside the defaults.
Notifications: a status change can trigger an automated email to the client, depending on your email settings.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Open the order.
  2. Choose the new status from the status control.
  3. Save — the change is logged on the timeline and the client is notified if that email is enabled.

Keep the list short. Five or six statuses is usually enough — every extra stage is another tab your team has to check.
