Search, Filters & Bulk Actions

2 min read

Narrow a long client directory down to the rows you need, then act on all of them at once.

Overview

Once your directory passes a few dozen accounts, scrolling stops working. Search, filters, and bulk actions are how you keep the Clients screen usable at any size — and they stack, so a filter narrows what search already matched.

Searching

The search box matches on name, email, or company in one pass — you don’t have to pick a field first. Partial matches work, so a fragment of a company name is usually enough.

Filters

The Filter control opens the filter panel; Clear resets everything including search and the active tab.

Saved filters: a combination you use often can be saved and reapplied in one click instead of rebuilt each time.

Bulk Actions

Tick the header checkbox to select every visible row, or pick rows individually. The action bar then applies to the whole selection.

Change status
Move a batch of leads to Client at once
Reassign owner
Hand a set of accounts to another member
Bulk delete
Remove several records together
Export selection
Export just the filtered rows, not everything
Pagination: the footer sets rows per page and shows the result count, so you always know how much your filter matched.
Selection scope: selecting the header checkbox picks the current page only — change rows per page first if you need a bigger batch.

Tips & Best Practices

Always filter before a bulk action. Acting on an unfiltered list is how the wrong twenty accounts get changed.

Common Issues

!

A client you know exists doesn’t appear? Check the active status tab — search only looks inside the current tab. Hit Clear to search across all of them.
